Real-world impact, real community change. Explore the projects we’ve delivered — rooted in compassion, built on need, and driven by community.

Making It Matter

Where care meets action — one project at a time.

At The Guardians Grow Charity, we believe that support isn’t one-size-fits-all. Our projects are designed to respond to real needs, in real time, with compassion, creativity, and care. From tackling isolation and crisis to spreading joy and hope, every project is a reflection of our values—and of the community we’re proud to stand beside.

We’re always open to collaboration, sponsorship, and new ideas. Want to get involved? Pop in, give us a ring on 07518 85 1184, or donate to help us keep making a difference.

Welcome to Margaret’s

A safe, inclusive community hub and gateway service that offers a warm welcome to anyone who needs it. More than just a place for a cup of tea or a meal, Margaret’s is a trauma-informed service where experienced staff and volunteers offer trusted advice, advocacy, and support to help people feel valued and connected. We don’t use tick boxes—we listen and tailor our help to each person’s needs, working with other services to ensure no one falls through the gaps. Whether you’re facing loneliness, mental health challenges, homelessness, or domestic abuse, Margaret’s is a place to belong, find guidance, and rediscover your strength.

Welcome to The Iris Project

‘I just want you to know who I am.’ The Iris Project is a safe, inclusive community space and gateway service that stands alongside individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, modern-day slavery, hate crime, and more. Here, we offer information, guidance, advocacy, and a space for survivors to connect and reclaim their strength through creativity and purpose. Every purchase from the Iris Project helps fund our HomeSafe project—providing essential packs of clothing, toiletries, toys, and furniture for individuals and families fleeing trauma, ensuring they have what they need to rebuild their lives. With us, your purchase becomes part of a vital circle of care and hope.

Coming Soon – Plate Of Plenty

Coming to Nuneaton, the “Plate of Plenty” Community Social Supermarket has grown from over a decade of deep-rooted community work, built through research, lived experience, and strong local relationships. Emerging from our journey as a grassroots group that delivered over 6,000 food parcels during the Covid pandemic, cooked and shared meals, and opened a thriving community hub with a café, “Plate of Plenty” brings together access to affordable, fresh food with dignity and choice at its heart. Referred by trusted agencies and organisations, those facing hardship can choose what they need in a welcoming, respectful space — and at the back of the store, a fully accessible community kitchen will host daily cooking sessions using surplus produce, offering practical skills and shared experiences for families, individuals, refugees, and marginalised groups. Alongside a small growing plot and a focus on food education, culture, and inclusion, “Plate of Plenty” is more than a supermarket — it’s a place to learn, to connect, and to celebrate food as something that nourishes both body and community. “Plate of Plenty” is currently run from Margaret’s and is accessible via referral from a supporting agency.
